Sam’s background is in project controls - the cost, schedule and reporting discipline that keeps a large project honest about where it actually is. It sits closer to financial control than the name suggests: both are about knowing the real position early enough to do something about it.
At Ozria he owns how the firm shows up. That means the website and what it says, and whether a business searching for a finance function that can handle multi-entity reporting or an audit deadline in six weeks actually finds one - which now covers search, the structured data underneath it, and whether an AI assistant asked about Ozria answers correctly.
The rest is operational. He runs the publishing workflow behind the Insights section so the people doing the work can write without waiting on anyone, keeps what the site claims in step with what the firm actually sells, and makes sure an enquiry sent at eleven at night is in front of somebody the next morning.
He is also Senior Founders Associate at Misia AI, a B2B SaaS start-up, where the work is the same shape at a different speed - making a small company’s operations legible enough to run on.
Sam holds a Project Controls Professional BSc (Hons) from the University of West London.
